Good Ol' Washburn - we know we are among friends!

It's deserted now, but the memories are vivid and wonderful.

Stone Lake Cranberry Festival 2011 - Can you see the red berries on these plants? Only three berries are native to the US. Blueberries, concord grapes and cranberries.

This machine is called a "beater" to loosen the berries from the flooded plants and gather them in a corner of the marsh bed..

Will it float? The flooded berries.

This truck sucks up the berries from the corner of the marsh and spits them into a semi truck.

A conveyor sends the berries to the sorting room.
