The day's activity involved losing three old sturdy trees - two had died and one was split by lightning a few nights ago.  There is a big empty space in the campground - more sky and less pine.

Some of the fallen branches will end up in our fire pit one future night.

The LAKE level is seriously low this year.  On our usual beach walk in years past, this tree base has always been in the water.
