Can you see the shorebirds?  Their search was extremely successful.  Upon sticking their pointy beaks in the sand at the water's edge, they came up with thin little white worms about an inch long.

Wonder what this shrub is called?  Once I finish y wildflower study, I'll start on shrubs.

Our own private campground...

If you look closely you can see our trailer in the back on the right, but otherwise the campground is empty.  It is a gloriously sunny, clear day with sparkling diamonds on the LAKE.

This baby sandbar is at the mouth of the Sioux River flowing into  the LAKE - Superior.

We've been away from the LAKE for VERY good reasons -

AND HERE SHE IS!!  SWEET TESS!!!

We had a wonderful visit from our family.  We miss you so much already.
