Afternoon at The Big Top

It's not often that we see the tent in mid-afternoon up on Mt. Ashwabay.  A pretty sight!

Noah Hoehn and his one man - "live looping".  The marimba, harmonica, his voice and various percussion instruments made an amazing sound.

Furniture on the ski hill made (aptly) from retired skis -  at the T Bar and Lounge

Ashland Ore Dock is no more

The last remaining ore dock in Ashland is history now.   It only took two summers to tear it down.

And another day of fun in the sun

In the span of a few hours, the LAKE went from glass to a churning washing machne.

A Water Parsnip or Hoary Alyssum? - is there a more delicate flower?

What a Day!

The sky was blue, the trees so green and the LAKE was at its best today.

The "LAKER" was out for about an hour and a half today on a crystal blue day.

This is a favorite lagoon on our walk to Thompson's West End campground.

A sure sign of summer coming to an end - the goldenrod is in full bloom.

This artesian well is at the Thompson West End campground -it was completed in 1903 and is 119 feet deep.

The Mister is going for his daily 'therapy"

I don't think she has rocks in her pockets as she walks and walks out into the LAKE....
