The fishing fleet came in alongside Bodin's Fisheries - those little boats turn on a dime.
They come into the canal front first and turn around so they're headed out for morning.
From the fishing pier -
We went to the beach, walked along in the water and the vicious attacks began -
the black flies have hatched and they are "biting-mad".
enjoying your pictures-about black flies-I read this screwy idea that might work back at your site, if they're there too-fill a baggie about half full of water and drop about 5 shiny pennies in it then hang the baggie. It can stay up all season. It messes with their eyesight. When you're out walking, I guess you'd have to tie it around your neck.Should amuse the locals if nothing else.
